The Tuesday Club

Tuesdays

Every other Tuesday I send five hundred words about somebody in Whisperwillow Springs going about an ordinary day. Not the main characters. The records clerk. The man who drives the donation truck. The woman who traces a casserole dish back to its owner over four phone calls because nobody else was going to.

A week after each one goes out, it appears here.

Tuesday 27 October

The first story goes out to the Tuesday Club on 20 October and appears on this page a week later. After that there’s a new one here every other Tuesday.

Most of them, anyway. Some only ever went out on a Tuesday.
